Join us for an extraordinary afternoon of music and storytelling as Jazz in the Native Yards welcomes internationally acclaimed South African vocalist, educator, and storyteller, NALEDI, to the vibrant Guga S’Thebe Cultural Centre in Langa.
Returning home from New York City, Naledi brings her celebrated 2024 South African tour to Cape Town, performing songs from her Mzansi Jazz Awards-nominated EP, BATHO. Meaning “people” in Sesotho, the EP is a heartfelt tribute to the communities and cultures that have shaped her artistic journey.
Accompanied by a talented quartet of local Cape Town musicians, Naledi will take audiences on a soulful journey through jazz and African rhythms, weaving stories of culture, history, and shared humanity. Known for her dynamic stage presence and powerful voice, Naledi’s performances are not just concerts they are thrilling experiences that inspire and connect.
